Lillee Jean and Edgardo Rubio to Lead New Short Comedy “Trapper Trap — Part 1”
An original short comedy film written by actress Lillee Jean Trueman titled The Trapper Trap — Part 1 is coming soon! It will be starring Jean with longtime family friend, and acting coach, Edgardo Rubio. Featuring Jean as Sabrina Apple Bottomost (Princess Glamourite), who dreams of dating Sad Ponniee, the king of romantic reguetón, and Rubio as the executive Mr. Edgardo Benito Ferrari Boom (Glamoue), who promises to help Sabrina with that dream. The short (which may turn into a feature) comedy is set to air at the end of 2024, after submission to film festivals!
About the Leading Cast
Edgardo Rubio is most known as a child actor in Los García, but has also starred in Manhattan Merengue! (1995), Freedom Flight (2005) and My Lucky Day (1998). Lillee Jean is most known as a New York City actress known for her short film Miss Roxie (2023), and her celebrity Hollywood talk show, Lillee Jean Talks! Live.
Filming Began In January 2024
New Year’s 2024 marked the beginning of filming. New York City actress Lillee Jean will play Sabrina Apple Bottomost/Princess Glamourite/Mammal, while popular Puerto Rican actor Edgardo Rubio will play Mr. Edgardo Benito Ferrari Boom/Glamoue; Zackary Danhi will play Ralph; Aaron Zucker will play Frederick/Cafe Visitor; Francisco Cepeda will play Mr. Boom’s Assistant. In the most recent news, Oscar Benjamin has joined as the official behind-the-scenes photographer! The film has been selected for festival feature screenings.
